Play it safe
The Senior Assassin safety rules. Every player agrees to all eight before their first game, and breaking one can get the whole game banned.
The eight rules
Word for word, the way players agree to them in the app, with the reason each one is there.
Rule 1 of 8
No real weapons
I understand that real weapons, dangerous items, and hazardous materials are strictly prohibited.
Nothing in this game needs anything that can hurt someone. A game that turns one up gets shut down.
Rule 2 of 8
Toys only
I will only use brightly colored toy equipment (water guns, balloons, or water buckets) that cannot be mistaken for a real weapon in its shape or color.
Police departments have warned that realistic water guns get mistaken for real ones. Bright colors and an obvious toy shape are what keep a splash looking like a game.
Rule 3 of 8
Eyes on the road
I will not use the app or participate in gameplay while operating any vehicle.
Chasing a target by car is how a water fight turns into a crash. The map is for when you are on foot.
Rule 4 of 8
No trespassing
I will not trespass or attempt to access any property or location I do not have permission to be in.
Following a target onto private property turns a prank into a police call. Wait for them somewhere public.
Rule 5 of 8
No disguises
I will not wear disguises, masks, or conduct myself in a way that may frighten or endanger players or members of the public.
A stranger in a mask outside a house frightens the neighbors, and they call 911. Play as yourself.
Rule 6 of 8
Stay alert
I will play responsibly — staying aware of my surroundings and never engaging in activity that appears dangerous or illegal.
People nearby don't know a game is on. Never aim at someone who isn't playing, and walk away if a situation looks wrong.
Rule 7 of 8
Follow your host
I will follow all additional rules set by my game organizer, including safe zone boundaries.
Hosts draw safe zones on the map for school, work or anywhere else the game shouldn't go. Nobody can be eliminated inside one.
Rule 8 of 8
Break them, get banned
I understand that violating these guidelines or the Terms of Service may result in a permanent ban for myself and my entire game.
Players can report each other in the app. Breaking a rule can get a player, or their whole game, banned for good.
What the app does
Rules only work if the game is built around them. These are the parts of the Senior Assassin app that do the enforcing.
- Rules before the first game
- Nobody plays until they have gone through all eight rules and agreed to each one.
- Safe zones on the map
- The host draws them around school, work, home or anywhere else that is off-limits. Nobody can be eliminated inside one. The only exception is a Purge, and the app tells every player when one is on.
- Proof before it counts
- Every elimination comes with photo or video proof in the game feed. The host can require approval, so nothing counts until someone has checked it.
- Location stays inside the game
- Only players in a game you have joined can see you, and only while it is running. Sharing needs your permission and is never used for advertising.
- Reports and bans
- Players can report each other from a profile or a chat. Breaking the rules can get a player, or a whole game, banned for good.
For parents and schools
- Is Senior Assassin dangerous?
- A water fight is not dangerous in itself. The risks come from how it gets played: water guns that look real, chasing targets by car, trespassing, and frightening people who don't know a game is on. The eight rules on this page exist to stop exactly those.
- What should parents know about Senior Assassin?
- Each player gets one target, usually a friend or classmate, and tries to soak them with a water gun until the game ends. In the app, a player’s location is visible only to others in the same game while it runs. Ask which toys your child is using and make sure they are brightly colored.
- Can a school keep Senior Assassin off campus?
- Yes. Most games already treat school grounds as off-limits, and the host can draw a safe zone around the school in the app so nobody can be eliminated there.
- What water guns are allowed in Senior Assassin?
- Only brightly colored toys that cannot be mistaken for a real weapon in shape or color: water guns, water balloons or buckets of water. Nothing black, metallic or realistic.
- How do I report unsafe play?
- Report the player in the app from their profile or a chat, or email admin@zinance.app.
