What is Senior
Assassin?
A school-wide game of water gun tag. Every senior gets one secret target. Soak them and you take on theirs. The last person still dry wins the pot.
Senior Assassin — also called water wars or gotcha — runs in the last weeks before graduation. Everyone taking part pays into a pot, gets assigned one classmate, and has to eliminate them with water without getting eliminated first.
It has been played on paper for decades: a hat full of names, a group chat, and one person keeping a spreadsheet nobody trusts. The parts that break are always the same — reassigning targets, proving a hit happened, and knowing who is still in.
The rules everyone agrees on
Everyone gets one target
Targets are handed out in a loop, so every player is hunting someone and being hunted by someone else.
Eliminate with water, not force
A water gun, a water balloon, or an in-app sticker. Nothing that hurts, nothing that scares a bystander.
Take their target when you get them
Eliminate your target and you inherit theirs. The circle keeps tightening until two people are left.
Proof settles the argument
Every elimination is a photo in the feed. No photo, no elimination.
Safe zones are real rules
School grounds, workplaces, and anywhere a game would cause trouble. Organizers set them before the game starts.

Questions people ask
- Is the Senior Assassin app free?
- Yes. Downloading the app, creating a game and playing it are free. Premium adds live tracking of other players and is billed weekly or monthly, cancel anytime.
- What do you use to eliminate someone?
- Water guns, water balloons, or the in-app sticker when a splash would be too obvious. Equipment must be brightly coloured and clearly a toy — never anything black, metallic, or camouflaged that a bystander could mistake for a real weapon.
- How long does a Senior Assassin game run?
- The organizer decides. A Battle Royale runs until one player is left, which usually takes a few weeks. A Blitz game ends when the clock runs out and the most eliminations wins, which suits a single weekend.
- Who can see my location?
- Only players in a game you have joined, and only while that game is running. Location sharing needs your explicit permission first, and it is never used for advertising. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is collected.
- Does it work on iPhone and Android?
- Yes. iPhone through the App Store, Android as a direct download from this site while Google Play is unavailable.
- Can we use it for games other than Senior Assassin?
- Yes. Water wars, gotcha, camp-wide manhunt — anything with targets, eliminations and a map works the same way.
